Gamma Heat Shrink Tubing is Compliant with Major Industry Standards such as UL, CSA, RoHS and SAE-AMS-DTL-23053 Milspec. Gamma Electronics Inc. is pending AS:9100B certification.

  • UL = UL is the trusted source across the globe for product compliance, from safety to EMC, from inspection to ISO. UL offers product testing and certification services like UL mark, CE marking.
  • CSA = The Canadian Standards Association is a not-for-profit membership-based association serving business, industry, government and consumers in Canada and the global marketplace. Each year, thousands of people benefit from the training materials, workshops and seminars offered by the CSA Learning Centre.
  • RoHS = RoHS stands for the "restriction on the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment". It is a European Directive aiming to control the use of certain hazardous substances in the production of new electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). It is a partner directive to the WEEE Directive (Waste in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) that controls the disposal and recycling of EEE. In the UK the RoHS Directive is implemented through the RoHS Regulations (Statutory Instrument SI2008 No. 37).
  • SAE-AMS-DTL-23053 Milspec = The definition of SAE/AMS is "Society of Automotive Engineers/Aerospace Material Specification". The definition of DTL is DTL input to TTL output and vice versa. The definition of MILSPEC is "Military Specification".
