Heat Shrink Tubing
Conductors, connections, joints, and terminals may be subjected to various strenuous physical and chemical tests. In some instances connectors have a maximum temperature breach before damage occurs; therefore choosing the shrink tube or protective sleeve that doesn’t exceed that temperature is important. Connections, terminals, and joints may need strain relief, need protection from abrasion, UV rays, solvents, aviation fluids, diesel, water or fire.
Heat shrink Tubing is supplied in various shrink ratios and wall thicknesses. The wall thicknesses are measured after the tube is shrunk. Our products are categorized by the material used to produce the product and the shrink ratio of the tube. Our part numbers are also indicative of what the product is to make it easy to select which tube meets your requirements.
